Join us on a delicious culinary journey of Fort Street, a historic yet growing culinary neighbourhood in Victoria. Once known as antique row, beautiful Fort Street is now home to quirky boutique shops, book stores, and tons of local restaurants. This tour is a great opportunity to discover new favorite spots, buy some locally made food items, and meet the owners that make this street so inviting.
We start the tour at Terroir Tea Salon where we will be treated to a unique tea tasting. Owners Charity and Jason are tea experts and their new tea lounge is sure to bring out the zen in anyone! Our next stop is at Choux Choux Charcuterie for a mind-blowing charcuterie platter. This decade old European delicatessen specializes in homemade sausages, pates, and artisanal meats and cheeses. After taking in some historic architecture, we visit Tulip Rice Bar and Cafe for a sample of a Piadina, an Italian sandwhich with an Iranian twist. We then head to La Taquisa for some traditional Mexican tacos made from an old family recipe. Next, we head next door to the newest kid on the block, Yalla, for some Middle Eastern street food. After a quick visit to a plant shop (Victoria is called the City of Gardens for a reason) we then finish the tour at Crust Bakery for a sweet treat. This modern bakery uses local ingredients with a French twist. Please note tour is subject to change depending on availability of our tour partners.
